Fixed asset module is an integrated module in iX ERP to manage fixed assets and integrate it with the core accounting system. Every single fixed asset needs to have its own unique code and registration in the fixed asset register. Fixed assets can only be purchased singularly; so if you have purchased three computers of the same make and model, each computer will have to be purchased separately as an individual fixed asset with different code or asset tag. This will facilitate the operations of the fixed assets, like assets tracking, write-off, asset transfer and many other operations.
Please note before you can register a fixed assets you have to enter the following data.

Each fixed asset requires the following:-
- a Fixed Asset Class
- a Fixed Asset Category
- a Fixed Asset Location
- a Fixed Asset Item
